Anora Group Plc: Employee representation on Anora’s Board of Directors – representative for the Finnish employees elected

As announced on 10 May 2021, Anora’s employees have the right to elect two employee representatives to Anora’s Board of Directors. The employee representatives will have personal deputy representatives. The right to vote and stand for election is granted to the employees in the countries with the highest number of employees.

Anora’s employees in Finland have elected Jussi Mikkola as their representative on the Board of Diretors and Laura Koivisto has been appointed as deputy representative. As announced on 3 September 2021, Anora’s employees in Norway elected Arne Larsen as their representative and Bjørn Oulie was appointed as deputy representative. With the election of the two employee representatives to the Board of Directors and their deputies, the arrangement of employee representation on the Board of Directors has been implemented in accordance with the agreement between the company and the special negotiation body of the employees.

Anora’s Board of Directors has evaluated that the employee representatives and deputy representatives are not independent of the company but are independent of the company’s significant shareholders.

The term of office for the employee representatives is approximately two years and commences at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting following the election. However, the first term of the employee representatives ends at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting 2024.
