Sustainability
Regenerate the future
Anora's vision is to be the leading Nordic brand house for wines and spirits, driving growth through sustainability. Therefore, sustainability, as defined in our ambitious roadmap extending to 2030, is central to all of Anora's operations and an integral part of Anora's decision-making.
Our Sustainability roadmap 2030 was created based on an extensive materiality analysis conducted in 2022 and updated in 2025. We have defined three key areas for Anora’s ESG-strategy: Planet, People and Product.

Planet
Anora’s own production will be carbon neutral by 2030 without compensations. We support regenerative farming and will increase the share of regeneratively farmed barley in our grain spirit-based products to 30 percent. Our production is based on circular economy. We enhance biodiversity and use our planet’s water resources cautiously: we protect ground-water areas corresponding to 1,500 football fields. We are committed to science-based targets and aim for 38% reduction of scopes 1–3 in 2030 and net-zero in 2050.
People
Anora is as an inclusive and safe workplace that represents the diversity, equity and progressiveness of Nordic culture. We aim for zero accidents and a strong safety culture. Our value chain is fair and transparent; we source sustainably and protect human rights.

Regeneratively farmed barley from the Aila-Korpela farm to Koskenkorva distillery
Anora aims to increase the use of regeneratively farmed barley in spirit production. Veli-Pekka and Noora Aila are Anora’s contract farmers who have transitioned to using regenerative farming practices.
Koskenkorva distillery is a forerunner in the circular economy
The Koskenkorva distillery operates based on the principles of the bio and circular economy: 100% of the grain is utilised. This brought Anora the Green Company of the Year award in 2018.
Clean groundwater guarantees the quality of our products
Protecting the more than 1,000-hectare area at Rajamäki owned by Anora and the groundwater beneath it, plays an important role in ensuring the high quality of Anora's products.
Aiming for zero accidents at the Rajamäki plant
Following the Rajamäki plant’s renewal process, Anora has placed increasing emphasis on the plant serving as an example of occupational safety.
